When scheduling newborn photography, it’s best to book in advance as newborns are most successful to photograph, usually within the first few weeks after birth. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to me at any point during your pregnancy to book your session.
If you have already welcomed your little one into the world, please contact me and I will do my utmost to make room for you.
FAQ
What do we wear?
We have a complete style guide that is sent through once you secure your booking to guide you. However to keep it simple we encourage you to choose warm earthy tones as well as textured soft fabrics to make your images look natural and comfortable.
Do I order prints through you?
Yes! I highly recommend ordering all of your wall art and prints through us. We take all the stress out of it for you and use only professional print labs that don’t service the public. Our editing software is calibrated with their printers so your images print perfectly, exactly how they were intended to be viewed.
Why choose me?
Photography aside, I am a mother myself and I understand first hand how hard the newborn days can be. In fact the day of my daughters newborn shoot had to be one of my most challenging mornings I ever had with her. I feel like I was meant to have that experience as it has made me even more empathetic to anxious new parents trying to get out of the house, usually for the first time.
Professionally, I have international experience and have done extensive training to perfect my skill. I continue to invest in myself so that my clients have the highest quality and my clients receive their best possible session.
My end goal is for my clients to feel comfortable, relaxed and safe in my space. I understand the concerns that come with taking a newborn out for the first time, let alone handing them over to a stranger. I would never put any pose in front of your babies comfort and safety. In addition to this the studio is sanitised and cleaned before every session and I am up to date with my vaccines to further protect my little clients!
Can I reschedule if my kids are unwell?
Definitely! I ask out of deep concern for my other clients that if anyone in your family is unwell you let me know at your earliest convenience and we will reschedule accordingly.
How much are your newborn sessions?
Our new born packages start from $650
When should I book my newborn shoot, and what happens if my baby doesn't arrive on time?
I suggest booking anytime after your 20 week scan. Babies very rarely arrive on their due dates so that is why I limit how many newborns I take per month, and why it is important for you to book as soon as you can. When you book in your session, I will pencil in your due date and once your baby arrives we will schedule your session in within the first few weeks of your babies life
Where is the studio?
My photography home studio is located in Glenwood NSW.
Are you available on the weekends?
Our studio has a weekend surcharge fee.
How long does a shoot take?
Newborn sessions take anywhere between 1.5-3 hours depending on how many people in the family. Outdoor family, and maternity sessions are 1-1.5 hours.
